2019 Jeep Wrangler vs. 2019 Toyota 4Runner

The all-new 2019 Jeep Wrangler is taller and longer than ever before and has more ground clearance than the new 2019 Toyota 4Runner. Additionally, the all-new 2019 Wrangler JL is the most fuel-efficient Wrangler ever built and boasts the most advanced technologic advances ever offered. As a matter of fact, the new 2019 Wrangler gets an EPA 25 mpg highway. That’s better fuel economy than the Toyota 4Runner. Plus, the new Wrangler is available in two- and four-door body styles and comes in four amazing trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Sahara, and Rubicon. And if you love the concept of variety, the Wrangler doesn’t disappoint, not with eleven great exterior color options to choose from. (That’s three more colors than the new 2019 Toyota 4Runner, by the way.) And if you’re an admirer of tradition, you’ll love all the traditional features that present on the new Wrangler. For example, the traditional fold-down window design is still there, but now the front windshield can also be collapsed and put away completely. And when it comes to MSRP, the new 2019 Jeep Wrangler is a great buy. As a matter of fact, it’s over $7,000 less than the equally equipped 2019 Toyota 4Runner. Come in today and discover the Wrangler that’s perfect for you at Cueter Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.

The Benefits of a Tire Rotation - Cueter CJDR

Tire Rotations are Essential If you want to get the most out of your tires, having them rotated regularly is a necessary step. At Cueter Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, we want to make certain that you understand just how vital proper tire rotation is for extending the lifetime of your tires. There are number of factors that contribute to normal tire wear-and-tear, but weather and road conditions are probably the two biggest. The practice of rotating your tires regularly—which is simply moving the wheels and tires of your vehicle from one position to another—is necessary to ensure that your tire wear is balanced and even. Rotating your tires regularly improves your vehicle’s overall performance. It will even increase your car’s fuel efficiency over time. Most importantly, however, is the issue of you and your family’s safety. Excessive tire wear increases your chance of having a blow-out, a tire failure that could cause you to lose control of your vehicle. For maximum efficiency and safety, most manufacturers recommend rotating your tires every 5,000 to 10,000 miles. Here at Cueter Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, we recommend scheduling a tire rotation every 6,000 miles just to be safe.

Person checking car tire pressure using a pressure gauge

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURE

We all know what a flat tire looks like, and I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s absolutely the last thing you want to see on a cold winter’s morning. And although it’s important to visually inspect your tires regularly, did you know that your tire can lose air pressure without you even noticing? Well, it’s true. Tire’s that are not properly pressurized wear out much faster than properly pressurized tires—and under-inflated tires are the worst! Not only do they dramatically decrease your vehicle’s fuel efficiency, but there’s also the matter of safety. Under-inflated tires can lead to blowouts, skids, and other tire failures. So, depending on how much you drive your vehicle in a given week, the mechanics at Cueter Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram advise you to check the pressure of your tires at least once a month with a quality tire gauge. Below are four great reasons it’s a good idea to check the pressure of your tires: Fuel Efficiency. Making certain that your tires are properly inflated helps optimize you fuel consumption. Who doesn’t like saving money at the pump? Better Handling. Tires that are properly pressurized assist your car in running smoother, handling better, and being more responsive. Vehicle Alignment. When your tires are properly inflated, it’s easier to keep your car or truck in proper alignment, and that increases the lifespan of your tires. Overall Safety. With under-inflated tires, there’s always a chance that safety features like your vehicle’s Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control System will fail to work properly. Jeep Wrangler JK vs JL - The Obvious and Not so - Obvious Differences.

Weather you are an off roading extraordinaire, or just love the thought of hitting the open road of adventure while having endless options, You may have considered the obvious Choice of a Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep Wrangler is the most iconic Off-roading vehicle in the United States.  Along with being one of the most capable, most affordable, and most fun - With the Currant upgrades Jeep Wrangler is now in our opinion one of the most comfortable.  Jeep was able to refresh the Wrangler while keeping the relatively same structure of the past generations. Exterior Although the JK and JL might look very similar, there are a few characteristic that help distinguish the JK from the JL. Jeep Wranglers can usually always be identified by one of there key characteristics, The grille. The JK has a new Upgraded grille that is easily set apart from the old JL Grille.  The Willys Jeep was Forced to increase the size of its headlights meaning they had to remove one Slot from each side. Going from 9 grille Slots on the JL to 7 on the JK and is slightly more kinked back that the previous JL. Below are some key Exterior feature Updates and Brand New features for the JK *LED daytime running lights and turn signals embedded into the front fenders. *There are vents located behind each front fender allowing for more air to pass through resulting in a reduction of wind noise. *The Raked windshield makes it easier and safer to remove. While the driver and passenger still have attached sun visors and Rear View Mirror unit - Different from the Previous JL Model. The hood features a power bulge hood and cowl panel that was also redesigned to feature a black plastic piece for easier windshield wiper removal. * Redesigned Prominent body line that runs down the side of the Jeep, giving it a bit more structure. *New reverse camera located on the spare tire mount with a higher view point, allowing for much wider - safer view. *New location of the license plate and the adjustable third brake light as well as the taillights have been updated and include a blind spot monitoring system. *Lighter Magnesium swing plate, allowing for easier load and unload situations. *Also new for the fourth-generation 2018 JL Wrangler is three additional top options that are easier and allow more flexibility *Hardtop - which come in either the body color or black, and has panels that can be removed individually, letting air flow freely through the Jeep while still maintaining  protection. *Soft Top Convertible - just flip up the bottom part - peel off the sides - and slide the back window out. The New JK no Longer have zippers to fumble with. *Power top - there are additional painted rails on top of the Wrangler that the top slides into in order to retract. So this top isn’t completely removable, but it will allow you to get more air flow  at the push of a button, even at speeds up to 60 mph Interior There are many New Features in the New JK Interior. The interior is noticeable more comfortable in the New Jeep Wrangler JK, From the upgraded comfortable new seats, redesigned steering wheel to the noticeably quitter smoother ride. Now you can enjoy the open road, Hit the trails or tackle any off road challenge of your choosing while having all of the creature comforts and in the lap of comfort without sacrificing heavy duty features.  Some of the New Jeep Wrangler Jk Upgrades include: *A label located on the tailgate contains detailed - helpful information regarding water fording depth limits - approach and departure angles - and specification regarding the wheelbase. *For the JL Rubicon, built-in auxiliary switches make it easy to connect aftermarket lighting solutions - air compressors - or other gadgets you might need while off-roading. *Rear air vents for dual climate control with a fold-able middle seat that contains cup holders. Performance Along with an updated version of the classic Pentastar V6 that has been the only engine offered for the JK Wrangler since 2012, the Wrangler JL will have three additional engine options. Even though the Pentastar is competing with all the new engines available, there have been improvements made that make the 3.6L engine even better. Featuring Engine Stop-Start (ESS) technology, the Pentastar V6 is more efficient than ever before. The 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine has auto stop/start technology, electric power assist, intelligent battery charging, regenerative braking, and transmission shift management. With a twin-scroll, low-inertia turbocharger, the 2.0L engine offers both efficiency and performance. Expected in 2019, the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine will offer massive amounts of torque and great fuel economy. The EcoDiesel, like the Pentastar and turbodiesel, comes standard with Engine Stop-Start capabilities and an eight-speed automatic transmission to keep up with the high torque output. Not much information has been released about the full plug-in electric Wrangler, except that it is expected to debut in 2020. An upgraded six-speed manual transmission will only be available for the Pentastar engine, along with an optional brand-new eight-speed automatic transmission. If you want a manual transmission, the only option is the Pentastar V6. All the other engines are equipped with the eight-speed automatic transmission. The class-exclusive automatic transmission is designed to improve highway fuel economy, optimize engine output, as well as reduce noise, vibration, and harshness. With an improved crawl ratio of 77.2:1, a 4.7:1 first gear ratio, and a 4.1:1 final drive ratio for the automatic JL Wrangler Rubicon, rock crawling and off-roading is a breeze. However, the new six-speed manual transmission is just as capable for traversing rocky patches and bumpy trails. Equipped with a new gear pattern, 50% shorter shifter, and a revised shift pattern, shifting is both more accurate and more comfortable. Reduced shifter vibration and enhanced sound isolation are due to the manual transmission’s cable-operated design. A manual transmission JL Wrangler Rubicon boasts a 5.13:1 first gear ratio, 4:1 low-range gear ratio, 4.10:1 axle ratio, and a crawl ratio of over 84. Boasting smooth and precise shift quality, an improved crawl ratio, and quick acceleration, the upgraded six-speed manual transmission is a welcome improvement to Jeep enthusiasts and purists. How to use 4L - Jeep Wrangler

There is not doubt that Jeep Wranglers are one of the most capable off road vehicles on the market. However for most of us, using all of the Jeep Wranglers features is not second nature, which left me questioning how or when to use the 4L feature. Turns out these options end up being pretty handy in sticky or super fun situations. 4L, 4H, and 2H are transfer case settings. The transfer case is the machine that gets power from the transmission system and is responsible for distributing this power to the vehicle’s axles. 4L means "low range". Simply put, the 4L setting is used if you need to creep along in slow speed. This specific setting doesn’t provide a lot of traction to the vehicle, but more than twice the torque. This position is used for when you need maximum traction and maximum power at slower speeds such as rocky surfaces, deep mud or snow, steep or sharp inclines/declines, etc. Your front and rear wheels are driven in low range using a lower gear ratio, which results in slower road speed and higher torque. This provides your vehicle with better engine braking and allows for easier control. If and when you need maximum traction and you need to move into 4 Lo, slow your vehicle down to 2-3 mph. With your Jeep still rolling, shift into neutral and slowly firmly pull the lever all the way back. Put your Jeep back into gear and you're good to go. Jeep Wranglers are one of the last vehicles to have a shiftier transfer case as opposed to the turn dial. 2018 Jeep Wrangler has mad off-roading capabilities Completely customize your Jeep Wrangler from top to bottom Interested in finding out the Release date of the New 2020 Jeep Gladiator? Dodge Journey

Mom On Wheels : 2018 Dodge Journey

2018 Dodge Journey I can't lie, being a huge Chrysler Pacifica fan (and a fan of vans in general), I was pretty excited to test out the new 2018 Dodge Journey. Driving the Dodge Journey was very comfortable to say the least. Besides the comfortable seats and the very easy to use infotainment system, the Dodge Journey’s ride was very, very smooth. My drive to work is over 50 minutes in heavy and medium traffic, so I did enjoy the simplicity of the dashboard, as well as having a tight ride with good maneuverability. That’s a big change from driving a van – but without losing all of the extra space. For me, weekends are packed with shopping for the holidays, shopping to fill our new home, as well as our weekly grocery trip to Kroger and Costco. Costco sampling and shopping on the weekends.... the best by the way. The storage in the Dodge Journey along with the cargo space was super helpful. Not only does the second and third row fold all the way down flat (perfect for bigger items), but there is 1.6 gallon floor storage bins behind each front seat and one under the passenger seat. We were able to fit everything in the back of the Dodge Journey in only one trip! You get a lot for your money with the Dodge Journey. With great MPGs, lots of cargo space, third row seating, great maneuverability, and a sleek crossover look, this is a great vehicle for the on-the-go, stylish mom - without breaking the bank. -Cueter Jaz
